SUSTAINED. The Dandy Edition — a fashion experience blending emerging artistry, sustainability, culture, education, and empowerment.

Dress for Success Washington, DC, in partnership with with Sustainable Fashion Week US, has launched a bold program that brings together fashion and design students from Bowie State University, Howard University, and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Guided by their professors, the students will creatively transform donated clothing into original, eye-catching garments inspired by classic dandyism.

The initiative will culminate in a sustainable fashion show on Friday, November 7, benefiting the programs and services offered by Dress for Success, Washington, DC. Sponsored by Sigma Alpha Tau, Talbots, T-Mobile, DC Events and Hobo.
